The SCHWIND treatment planning data of the patient eye are transferred to the SCHWIND Foresight® software. Based on the tomographic data, Foresight creates a virtual replica of the individual patient’s cornea. The post-operative corneal shape is calculated and visualised then by mathematically subtracting the SCHWIND AMARIS® treatment profile from the virtual replica. The graphically user interface resembles common diagnostic devices and does not require any additional effort. With one click only, the virtual replica and the estimated corneal shape are presented.
SCHWIND Foresight is available for visualisation of the expected outcome for Schwind Amaris treatment plans that include data from Schwind MS-39 or Schwind Sirius / Sirius+ diagnostic devices.
